Kannada actress Daisy Bopanna has slammed Indian cricketer Sreesanth's claim that she has taken his name for publicity, insisting that she is not publicity hungry. It was reported earlier that Sreesanth, who is playing in the ongoing IPL2 in South Africa for King's XI Punjab, had said that she had used his name for publicity.
Daisy Bopanna said that she had worked with many superstars from the north to the south. If she wanted publicity she would have linked up with such superstars rather than linking up with now-growing star like Sreesanth. According to Daisy, Sreesanth is not a great cricketer, who is struggling to get a star image. “How can I get publicity from such person?" she asked.
Reacting to his furious comment, Daisy said that one should look into the things before reacting to the rumours created by the media. She added that Sree lacked this common sense. He had made a serious comment about me without looking into the facts. That showed his immaturity.
Daisy said that it was clearly a misunderstanding. She requested the media not to interfere in her affair. She wished him good luck in the ongoing IPL2.
