When
R.
Chandru
named
his
first
film
Taj
Mahal,
there
were
some
protests
from
Kannada
film
makers
for
giving
a
Hindi
name
to
a
Kannada
film.
But
Taj
Mahal
is
the
name
of
India's
proudest
monument
in
Agra
standing
as
a
symbol
of
eternal
love
and
the
film
was
allowed
to
release
with
the
same
title.
Taj
Mahal
featuring
Pooja
Gandhi
and
Ajay
Rao
went
on
to
become
one
of
the
biggest
hits
of
2008,
catapulting
Chandru
into
the
league
of
topline
directors.
Chandru's
upcoming
film,
also
bearing
a
Hindi
title
(Prem
Kahani)
is
invoking
bigger
protests
this
time.
Chandru
is
in
the
final
stages
of
finishing
the
film
and
is
quite
depressed
at
the
criticisms
regarding
the
title.
He
has
already
published
the
advertisements
of
the
film
and
changing
the
title
means
spending
more
money
on
promos.
Prem
Kahani
is
produced
by
K.M.
Vishwanath
and
G.
Ravikumar,
mine-owners
from
Bellary
district.

the

is
