Charge sheet against Govardhana produced to court

A charge sheet against Maadesha producer Govardhana Murthy has been produced to court by the Sampigehalli police. The charge sheet includes 149 records, 103 witnesses and the names of 12 persons, who have seen the incident on the spot. Govardhana is facing the charge of murdering co-star Vinod Kumar.

According to the Ballistic report, Govardhana is the prime accused in the murder case. It is stated that the actor was shot dead by the revolver, which was collected from Govardhana. Including him, six others have been charged with murdering the actor. Two of them are absconding, say the police sources.

The Maadesha producer and six others have shot dead the actor on 6th October 2008 at the Bagaloor farmhouse in Bangalore outskirt area.
