Circus fame director-cum-producer Dayal Padmanabhan is now all set to do a movie on the bitter enemies Kumaraswamy and Yediyurappa. The movie is titled as Kaddu Muchchi and is a lover story. Actor Diganth and Radhika Pandit will play the lead roles.

According to Dayal Padmanabhan, Kaddu Muchchi is a political satire. The movie revolves around the two lovers, who belong to Gowda and Lingayath communities. The names of both the family leaders are Kumaraswamy and Yediyurappa. How the lovers get their inter-caste marriage done will form the core part of the movie.

Dayal said, "Kaddu Muchchi does not have any controversial issues. Although using big names like Kumaraswamy and Yadiyurappa is risky, the movie does not criticise or insults any of these characters. The movie does not have any fights. It does deal with enmity between two castes. It's an honest effort to bring the relationship of two families on screen."

However, Dayal Padmanabhan is also set to do another movie titled as Harikathe. Suman Ranganath has already been selected for the movie. Journalist Ravi Belagere has been already battling a fight in the court for using the names Devegowda family members in his movie Mukhyamantri I Love You, which has 'Radhike Ninna Sarsavidene' as its sub-title.

Will Dayal also face the same kind of Battle?
