Yogesh, Kannada's new Dhanush

Last year saw a bunch of films from other languages being remade in Kannada and this year does not seem to be any different. It is heard that two Tamil films, Kadhal Kondein and Polladhavan, which had Dhanush as hero, are considered to be remade in Kannada.

Kadhal Kondein will be remade by Yogesh Hunsoor, who had earlier made Lakshmi Mahalakshmi, an average film. Yogeesh of Loose Maada fame is being considered for the lead role. Apparently, Yogesh resembles Dhanush in looks and style; so he is being considered for the remake of Polladhavan also. Kadhal Kondein is titled Ravana in Kannada and Polladhavan is named Ponda.

Noted producer Rockline Venkatesh had earlier planned to remake Kadhal Kondein with Sadhu Kokila as director and Vijay as hero but the project was dropped for unknown reasons.
