Guruprasad,
who
is
known
for
his
satirical
comedy
movies
like
Mata
and
Eddelu
Manjunatha,
is
now
putting
on
his
director
cap
again
for
his
next
movie,
which
is
titled
Director
Special.
The
title
is
yet
to
be
approved
by
KFCC.
The
movie
will
hit
the
floors
in
January
2010.
Guru
Prasad's
previous
movie
Mata
had
a
realistic
theme,
whereas
Eddelu
Manjunath
was
based
on
a
drunkard
and
a
lazy
brat.
Both
were
message-oriented
movies
and
were
satires
on
the
present
society.
Navarasa-nayaka
Jaggesh
had
played
the
lead
role
in
Mata
and
Eddelu
Manjunatha.
Jaggesh
and
Guru
Prasad,
who
worked
like
a
inseparable
team,
have
parted
their
ways
after
the
movie
Eddelu
Manjunatha,
which
was
delayed
because
of
their
difference.
Now,
Jaggy's
brother
Komal
Kumar
will
be
seen
in
the
lead
role
in
Director's
Special.
Jaggesh's
loss
is
Komal's
gain.
Guru's
upcoming
movie
Director's
Special
will
be
based
on
the
in
and
outs
of
Gandhi
Nagar
(Sandalwood).
In
his
previous
movies,
Gandhi
Nagar
was
just
a
part
of
his
stories,
but
now
he
has
taken
it
as
a
lead
story.
Cast,
crew
and
other
details
are
under
wraps
and
the
movie
is
yet
to
be
announced
officially.
