Iniya team attacked by Chikkamagalore police

Iniya team was been allegedly attacked by the police in Chikkamagalore, insisting that the crew did not have permission letter for shooting in the city. The team held a silent protest march to condemn the incident on the MG Road today. The movie features Ravichandran's brother Balaji and Pooja Gandhi.

The film team said although they had a permission letter, the police had assaulted them unnecessarily. Now they want the police authorities to beg their apologies immediately.

Shailendra Babu produced movie Iniya is being directed by Mahesh. Sundarnath Suvarna cranks the camera, while Shridhar scores the music of the movie. Urvashi, Lokanath, BR Radha, Chitra Shenoy, Ninasam Ashwath, Sanket Kashi, Rekha and many others are in the star cast.
