KFCC shows green signal to 'Prem Kahani'

Kannada movie Prem Kahani has finally got green signal from Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) for its Hindi title. Now the movie has completed shooting and is set to release. So the makers of the movie had requested KFCC to allow the title stating that changing the title at that moment of time would be a set back for the movie.

Earlier, KFCC had expressed its displeasure at Hindi title for Kannada movie Prem Kahani. Talking about the issue Chief Secretary of KFCC, Thomas D'Souza said, "The title of the movie Prem Kahani was registered long back. But now, the movie is set to hit the theatres. So KFCC has given its permission for the title. But it will not permit any foreign titles to Kannada movie in future."

Taj Mahal director Chandru, who has directed the movie Prem Kahini, is very happy at the KFCC's decision. He said, "Prem Kahani is getting good response from all the sides. Now re-recording process is going on for the movie. DI technology will be used for it. We are planning to release the movie in Hollywood range on 25th July."

Ilayaraja has scored music, camera is by KM Chandrashekhar and KM Prakash will edit the movie. Stunts and adventures are by Ravivarma while dance is by Madan Harini, Raghu, Imaran and Harsha. K Kalyan, Nagendra Prasad and Kaviraj has penned lyrics for the movie.

Ajay, Sheela, Rangayan Raghu, Rajesh, Sudha Belavadi, Lokanath, Mico Nagaraj and Tennis Krishna are in the cast. NL Narendra Babu, MLA of Mahalaxmi Layout constituency, is playing a special role in the movie.
