Kishore Sarja died of cardiac arrest

Actor Arjun Sarja"s elder brother Kishore Sarja has died of cardiac arrest at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore on Saturday. He was 50 years old and was survived by his wife Aparna and son Suraj. Kishor entered Kannada film industry as a director through the movie Alimayya.

Kishore directed Kannada movie Vayuputra had recently completed its shooting but the dubbing work of the movie was held up for his illness. Kishore was suffering from liver problem and he was admitted to Manipal Hospital in Bangalore. For the past few days, Arjun Sarja was also staying with him at the hospital to look him after.

Kishore Sarja"s sudden death has shocked his wife Aparna, son Suraj and thousand of his fans. Kishore was known for his straight forwardness. He had learnt directing techniques from veteran directors like Vijay Reddy, SV Rajendra Singh Babu, D Rajendra Babu and V Somashekhar.

Kishore had directed several super-hit movies including Makkala Sakshi, Jodi, Tutta Mutta. His sudden death has shocked the Kannada film industry. His body has been kept for exhibition at his Jakkanahalli home in Bangalore. Kishore funeral will take place on Monday and he will be buried beside the tome of Shakthi Prasad.
