Komal Kumar to host City Maathu on Radio City

After rocking big screen, Kannada comedy actor Komal Kumar is now set to entertain the audiences on radio programme. Yes! Komal has teamed up with RJ Vinayak Joshi to host the comedy programme 'City Maathu' (City Maatu) on Radio City 91.1. Along with his naughty pranks and comedy, listeners can also enjoy the melodious music on it.

For the first time, Komal will be available live on air everyday with the programme 'City Maathu' on Radio City 91.1. The programme starts with the 'Joke of the day'. Talking about it, Komal says, "Radio programme is totally new for me. My situation is just like a newly married bride visiting her hubby's house for the first time."

He adds, "An artiste like me will get a different type of happiness when he goes live on air. I'm set to feel the thrill now. My pranks have been irritating but the audiences have always enjoyed them."

The programme 'City Maathu' will start from today (15th December 2009) and it will be aired between 6.00 pm and 8.pm from Monday to Saturday. Listeners will have the opportunity to win a gift voucher worth Rs. 5000.
