Madhu Shalini's debut film Nagavalli

Madhu Shalini, the talented actress known for her brilliant roles in Kithakithalu, Oka Vichitram and State Rowdy in Telugu and Sixteen, Palaniappa Kalloori in Tamil is foraying into Kannada through Nagavalli. Incidentally, Nagavalli is the first horror film of Madhu Shalini"s career. She thinks this character (possessed by a demon) is very challenging and interesting.

Madhu Shalini is famous as a model and an exponent of Kuchipudi dance. This versatile actress is currently pursuing her MBA and is also doing a course in fashion designing. Although she does not have any formal training in acting, Kuchipudi helped her in emoting well.

Madhu Shalini"s father is a businessman and her mother, an advocate. She jokes that even after being the daughter of an advocate, she is not able to recover the bounced cheque of Rs. 5 lakhs lying in her cupboard. “The cinema industry is a circle; those who did not pay me have to come again once I attain popularity and fame," she says.
