Meghana's dream turns true

Meghana's entry into Sandalwood through Venkata in Sankata was not unexpected. Well, not at least for her and her parents. It was Meghana's dream to be part of the entertainment industry. It was her lifetime ambition to become an actress which became a reality through Venkata in Sankata.

Megahana was born and bought up in California, US, but she migrated to Bangalore in the hope that the garden city would help her get established as an actress. So she enrolled in the acting school, 'Abhinaya Taranga' which opened the doors of films to her.

Meghana's father recalls that she was a very shy kid, but during high school, she really came out of her shell and started showing interest in music and dance. She even joined the Academy of Performing Arts and played a significant role in Arthur Miller's 'Crucible' for which she won an award. After her studies, she worked in a corporate environment in New York for a while, but her heart was always in acting. Realizing her talent and aptitude for performing arts, her parents also supported her when she decided to come back to India to try her luck. So here she is, and we wish her the best of luck!
