Meghave Meghave show called off

The newly released film Meghave Meghave faced a setback when the film"s morning show in Pramod theatre was called off half way due to want of audience. Pramod theatre is situated in the busy Magadi Road and another theatre Prasanna is situated next to it. Meghave Meghave stars Ram and Gracy Singh in the lead roles.

The cancelling of the show came as a blow to the producer of Megave Meghave which is receiving bad reviews from the media also. Reacting to the incident, Thomas D"Souza, Secretary of the Exhibitor sector of KFCC said that this is a shocking event and puts the entire Kannada film industry in dismay. He explained the rules under which it is allowed to cancel the screening of a film once it is commenced. Theatres are allowed to stop the screening in the wake of a technical fault. Other than this, the show must continue even if there is only two or three audience. He also mentioned that this type of event had happened last year also.

Recently, Producer Varada Reddy had to withdraw his film Neenyare since a theatre declined to screen it.
