Poorvi asks Sukanya whether the report in the news paper is true. She is baffled, when Sukanya remains silent. Sukanya tries to convince her, but she scolds her. Sukanya weeps bitterly. Meanwhile, Megha points out the misconception about woman. She explains Poorvi how male dominated society is trying to crush down woman with the reason of her virginity. Poorvi feels that she did a mistake by scolding her mother. She sets out to finish off the person, who has created rumours about her mother. Megha also accompanies her.

Pategara tells Kalyani that the police report says Ranganath has been murdered by stabbing. There is something wrong in the report. While she is in confusion, Poorvi calls her over phone.
