Nagathihalli Film Fest to be held in Udupi

Nagathihalli Film Festival will be held for two days from January 31 to February 2 in Udupi. Talking at the press meet, Prof Jayapraksh Mavinkuli said that the Film Fest will be held to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial College.

Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar directed hit movies like America America, Kotreshi Kanasu, Humale and Mathadu Mathadu Mallige will be screened for two days at the film fest. S Sandhya Pai, the Editor of the weekly Kannada magazine Taranga, will inaugurate the function and Ashok Hegde, the Chief of Karnataka Bank Ltd will be the chief guest at the function.

The students will get time to talk to Chandrashekhar after screening each movie. Dr. Jayamala will attend the concluding function on February 1. N Muralidharan, Chief of Corporation Bank will be the chief guest of the function. Dr Shantaram, President of Manipal Academy, will also be present at the function.
