Navya Nair assaulted by a stranger

Malayalam actress Navya Nair, who recently starred alongside Shivaraj Kumar in the Kannada movie Bhagyada Balegara, was physically assaulted by a stranger when she came to attend the opening ceremony of the Kerala based Joy Alukka's and Sons modern Alukka's Jewelry shop in Mangalore on October 10. The event was also attended by Kannada actresses like Duniya Reshmi and Mithri.

On Saturday, KS Rao road in Mangalore was crowded with funky youths, who were eager to see their favourite actresses. The celebrities were not provided with police security. A mischievous guy took this as an opportunity and went closer to actress Navya Nair. He pinched her thigh without the knowledge of anyone and disappeared from the scene.

The incident was a very disgusting moment for the actress. She was so stunned by the incident that she could not notice who pinched her. However, She recovered from the pain and walked ahead. She seemed very upset with the incident.

This kind of incidents are growing more and more. Many actress are scared to attend the public functions these days. Recently, Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu was groped by stranger while she was attending pooja in Delhi. Another Bollywood actress Maushmi Udeshi was kissed by a man during the shooting of Tamil movie in Madurai.
