Navya's lucky stars shining bright

Malayalee actress Navya Nair, whose debut film in Kannada was Gaja, is the heroine of Shivrajkumar's latest, Bhaagyatha Balegaara. The lovely actress has been participating in the shooting of the film for the past few days. First, Kamalinee Mukherjee was considered for the film, but later, the producers settled on Navya.

Meanwhile, Navya's second Kannada film, Nam Yejamanru, is all set for release on January 30. Dr. Vishnuvardhan is the hero and Lakshmi Gopalaswami also plays an important role. Darshan was the hero in Gaja which became a super hit, bringing Navya into the list of top actresses. She has just finished the shooting of Boss, in which she pairs up again with her lucky hero Darshan.

Bhaagyatha Balegaara is directed by Sai Prakash and produced by Ramesh Kashyap of Nanda Loves Nanditha fame. The shooting of the film continues at Channapatna.
