Om Prakash Rao all set to direct Puneet

Kannada mass director Om Prakash Rao, who has directed actors like Darshan, Devraj, Ravichandran, Sudeep, Shivaraj Kumar and Malashri, is now all set to direct Powerstar Puneet Rajkumar. According to Gandhinagar sources, Puneet-Om Praksh combo is all set to do a movie.

It is said that Puneet-Om combo will be produced by Kanakapura Shrinivas. However, Puneet is busy with the shooting of Raaj. After completing the movie, the untitled movie will go to sets in June. Other details of cast and crew are yet to come.

Kanakapura Shrinivas was producing Puneet starrer Mayur, which was directed by Shobhan. After the accidental death of the director, the movie was stopped shooting. Puneet had committed to other projects before the movie Mayur went to set. So he could not give new dates for Kanakapura Shrinivas' project. After two years, he has now agreed to do a movie for him in the same dates of Mayur.

He had also said that he would do the movie this year only. Now Shrinivas is all happy for his movie with Puneet is ready to go to sets. Shivaraj-Om combo has already given many hit movies.
