Padmapriya-Shivaraj chemistry in Thamassu

Malayalam actress Padmapriya, who is presently shooting for writer-turned-director Shridhar's debut venture Thamassu, has said that she never knew that the Kannada film industry had such an amazing actor like Shivaraj Kumar. She feels that her chemistry with him on the sets is unique, very committed and professional.

Padmapriya is all excited for bagging the project Thamassu. She reveals how Shivaraj Kumar was insistent that she do the film. The Hat-trick hero had watched her Pokkisham thrice. He liked her performance in it and also felt that she would suit the character of lead lady in Thamassu.

The shooting of the movie Thamassu was launched on October 23 and now it is almost nearing its completion. Talking about the film crew, she feels that everyone has been ggod to her on the sets. "I never knew that the Kannada film industry had such an amazing actor like Shivaraj Kumar. Our chemistry on the sets is also unique — very committed and professional," the Bangalore times quotes her saying.

Shivanna plays a tough cop while Padmapriya plays his wife. Now she has become 'Pancha Bhashya Taare' after entering Kannada film. Talking about Kannada films, she says, “I don"t think Kannada is a second-grade industry. Film-makers here make good cinema, too. As for me, I got a good offer and I had to grab it."
