Padmaja Rao to direct Thumba Ishta Swalpa Kashta

After Suhasini, it is the turn of actress Padmaja Rao, who has acted both on small screen as well as big screen. Now She is turning director. Her first debut venture is titled as Thumba Ishta Swalpa Kashta. The actress has played mother in all Kannada actors movies except Vishnuvardhan.

Thumba Ishta Swalpa Kashta will be made with the budget of Rs. 1.60 crore. Padmaja Rao has selected popular Kannada actors for her debut venture. Actor Diganth, actress Andrita Ray and Yash are playing the lead roles in the movie. Ananth Nag and Rangayan Raghu are in other cast.

Jayant Kaikini has already agreed to pen lyrics for Thumba Ishta Swalpa Kashta. However Padmaja has 15 years experience in acting in TV serials and cinema. Her mother's role in Ganesh starrer Mungaru Male had got rave reviews from the experts for her.
