BC Patil makes comeback through Salute

Actor-turned-politician BC Patil is all set to make a comeback to acting after five years. The former Police Officer, who was very busy in his political activities, has set out for shooting of his forthcoming movie Salute, after completing the Amritha Mahotsava of Kannada Films.

The actor has condemned the real-estate people for entering film industry and developing a commercial culture. He alleged that they have made the filmmaking cost increase by ten times, which encourages artificiality more than art. He thanks audiences for encouraging artistic movies.

BC Patil has taken responsibility of direction, production as well as acting. The movie is about his own experiences as Police Officer and a politician. It is totally different movie. Another specialty of the movie is that industrialist Ashok Kheni will play a pivotal role. The movie has already started shooting.

BC Patil debuted through Dr. Vishnuvardhan starrer movie Nishkarsha. He has acted in films like Premachari, Kaurava, Shivappa Nayaka, Jogula so far. His performance in Nishkarsha was much appreciated by Vishnu. He also plunged into politics and is now an MLA for second term.
