Pragna to star in Sakthivel's Tamil movie

Kannada actress Pragna, 17, who entered Kannada films through the movie Baba when she was in 9th standard, is now silently switching over to Tamil films. She has also acted in many Kannada movies including movie Kempa.

Pragna has acted alongside actor Vijayaraghavendra in Pani Ramchandra directed Matte Banda Ganesh. She has appeared with Yogish in recently released Preethse Preethse. So far, she has acted in seven movies in Kannada.

Now, actress Pragna has been roped in to star in Kadhal fame director Balaji Sakthivel's forthcoming Tamil movie. Balaji is planning to introduce a newcomer as hero in the movie, which will go to set in August. Meanwhile, the actress is busy with her PUC in distance education course.

The teenage actress is waiting to release of three Kannada movies. She has acted with Prajwal Devraj in Kencha, Vijay in Devru and Diganth in Male Billu, which have already completed the shooting and are ready for the release. However Pragna's sudden move to Tamil has surprised the Gandhinagar pandit.
