Actor Prakash Raj (Prakash Rai) is all set to start his directorial career. His first directorial venture will be made in Kannada and the movie is titled as Naanu Nanna Kanasu. It is a remake of Tamil movie Abhiyum Naanum, which is already remade in Telugu as Akasamantha.

The specialty of the movie Naanu Nanna Kanasu is that Prakash Raj and writer, TV serial and movie director B Suresh are producing it. Although it is remake movie, many of the sequences are being changed according to situation in Kannada. The movie deals with Kodagu tradition, says Prakash.

The movie will have Hamsalekha's music score, Ananth Arasu's camera work and Arun Sagar's art direction. "I had a long standing desire to start direct movies, but I was little confused about the language in which I should start first. Now I'm turning director through the movie Naanu Nanna Kanasau in Kannada," says Prakash Raj.

Recently, the screening of the National Film Award winner movie Kanchivaram was held at GM Rejoice function hall in Malleswaram. Meanwhile, Prakash Raj revealed the details of his debut venture. He is playing father and Golden girl Ramya is playing his daughter in the movie Naanu Nanna Kanasau.

Naanu Nanna Kanasau will start shooting from November last week or December first week. Another specility of the movie is that Hamsalekha and B Suresh, who are the staunch haters of remake movie, have agreed to work for this remake movie. They defend their involvement in the movie by saying that many sequences are being changed in Kannada.
