Raju,
one
among
the
producers
of
Kannada
film
Om
Namaha,
was
recently
abducted
and
stabbed
by
his
co-producer
on
Tuesday
night.
Now,
Raju
has
filed
complaint
against
them
at
Yelahanka
New
Town
police.
The
sources
claim
that
the
differences
between
Raju
and
other
producers
Muni
Veerappa,
Shanthkumar
and
Umesh
on
financial
matter
lead
to
the
his
abduction.
Producer
D
Raju
is
running
an
electrical
shop
at
Sharadanagar
in
Bangalore.
He
had
invested
Rs.
10
lakhs
on
the
movie
Om
Namaha,
which
is
now
ready
for
release.
He
asked
the
rest
of
the
producers
to
return
the
money
when
his
name
was
not
included
in
the
producers" list.
They
gave
him
a
cheque
of
Rs.
10
lakhs,
but
it
was
bounced.
However,
Raju
was
kidnapped
near
an
electrical
shop
on
Tuesday
night.
Later,
the
abductors
took
him
to
Doddaballapur
in
their
Maruti
van.
They
assaulted
him
with
knife
and
forcibly
took
his
signature
on
blank
papers.
In
the
early
hours
of
Wednesday,
Raju
got
out
of
the
van
with
the
pretext
of
attending
nature
call
and
escaped
from
them,
say
police
sources.
Later,
Raju
was
admitted
to
a
private
hospital
inYelahanka
New
Town
after
the
police
found
blade
marks
on
his
neck
and
back.
The
movie
Om
Namaha
has
been
directed
by
Vijayendran
and
Arjun
has
scored
music
for
the
movie.
The
audio
of
the
movie
was
released
recently.
It
has
already
completed
all
the
formalities
and
getting
ready
for
the
release.
