As Puneet Rajkumar-Nisha Kothari starrer Raaj – The Showman nearing its release, the promotional works of the movie are getting hotter. The film crew has come out with new technique of promotion by setting up a big cutout of Dr. Rajkumar in front of Santhosh theatre.

Although there is no relationship between Dr. Raj and the movie Raaj, director Prem says that it lies in the feelings. According to him, the film crew is showing its honour and reverence to their veteran actor. Here the matter lies in the cutout not in the publicity and prestige.

The 58-feet cutout of Rajanna has been made of fiber. Eight Mangalore-based artistes have worked continuously for eight months. Nearly Rs. 5 lakh have been spent on the statue, say producers Suresh Gowda and Shrinivasmurthy.

Another specialty of the movie Raaj is that a Rajanna"s statue was erected during the muhurtha of the movie. Now, the film crew has set up another statue of Dr. Raj, while it is getting ready for release. According to the crew members, the statue will be maintained permanently and will be provided with the security. After unveiling the statue Raghavendra Rajkumar expressed his craze and happiness towards the movie Raaj - The Showman.

Taliking on the occasion, Raghavendra said, “Recently I had been to a temple. Usually, devotees pray god for their demands, but reverse thing happened there. The priest of the temple prayed me and requested me for a ticket to watch the movie Raaj - The Showman. I've got same kind of requests from many officers also."

However, Raaj - The Showman is reportedly set to release on August 14. Now a few days are left to release the movie and Puneet fans are eagerly waiting to watch the movie.
