Producer Ramesh Yadav has filed a case against Veera Madakari actor Sudeep at Karnataka Film Producers Association (KFPA). In the case filed at KFPA, Ramesh has stated that two years ago, he has given Rs 20 lakhs to Sudeep. Now the actor is neither ready to act nor willing to return the money.

The producer has requested the KFPA to get back his money, which was given to the actor as a token of advance. "It's true that Sudeep has taken Rs 20 lakhs from me. With regard to this, I've already lodged a complaint at KFPA. I don't want to comment on the issue now. Let the KFPA take action against the actor," Ramesh said.

Sudeep had signed a movie with Ramesh and had taken Rs. 20 Lakhs as an advance amount. Almost 18 months have passed after the incident, but the movie has not gone to set so far. The producer had requested the actor many times for his dates. He was busy with his other Kannada and Hindi projects. So he could not issue dates for him. Now Ramesh has requested him to either give his dates or return the amount with interest.

Producers Vs. Actors

On the other hand, actor Sudeep has reportedly lodged a complaint against the producer at Karnataka Artistes Association. Meanwhile The KFPA is hoping to call both Sudeep and Ramesh in order to solve their problem.

In another important development, Kannada producers have waged a war against Kannada actors. They claim that actors are asking for more money as their payment. Some important Kannada actors are demanding Rs. 1 crore. They charge Rs. 1 lakh per day.

According to Gandhinagar sources, the issue of payment has already been considered and the KFPA has taken steps to get the payments reduced. However, the fight between producers and actors that was going on behind the curtain is now coming to light.
