Roopa Iyer, dedicated to the society

By Super Admin

Noted music director Hamsalekha once described Roopa Iyer as the most beautiful and most intelligent woman in Karnataka. Roopa is a person who has dedicated her life to charity and helps the less-fortunate people of society. Her first film Mukhaputa which is set to release soon deals with the problems of children with HIV. She brought six HIV infected kids on stage at the audio launch function of Mukhaputa conducted recently in Bangalore.

Now after Mukhaputa, Roopa Iyer is planning a film dealing with the plight of deaf and dumb children. Roopa is making the film with the help of ENT specialist Dr. Sunil Narayan Dutt, who announced the new film at the audio launch. Dr. Dutt said that here are nearly two million people in India who are unable to hear from birth, and hence never learnt to talk.

Dr. Dutt also mentioned that Roopa was his patient years ago when she had a sinus problem. Roopa works with the SAHI institute and is a cause ambassador.
