Sanchita underwent training for Ravana

Director Yogish Hunsur has started the shooting of Ravana, remake of the Tamil film Kadhal Kondein which catapulted actor Dhanush into Kollywood"s elite group of talented actors. Yogesh (of Nanda Loves Nandita fame) is the male lead. Sanchitha Padukone from Mangalore is the heroine. She has acted in the Tamil movie Mutalgi opposite Uday. Sanchitha, who studied at Hombegowda College, has a passion for acting; she has undergone two months training before coming to act in Ravana.

Diretcor Hunsur has decided upon a shooting schedule of 60 days at the North Kannada district Kumta, Sirsi; two songs will be filmed in New Zealand. Uday K. Mehta and Mohan G. Nayak are the producers.

This is Yogish"s sixth film and interestingly, he is also cast in the remake of another Dhanush film Polladhavan which will begin in February.
