Vijay’s Shankar IPS based on real life

Duniya fame Vijay"s upcoming film Shankar IPS is about a strong police officer. The movie, which went on the floors on Thursday morning at JP Nagar Venkataramana Swamy temple, deals with real-life incidents, says director MS Ramesh. The movie is produced by K Manju.

The director has contacted a few police officers and picked some exciting incidents form their real life. He has got the permission from the concerned officers. After writing the script, he has discussed with various cross sections of people to finalise it. He has even consulted the cast of his film to better the screenplay.

Vijay plays a Police Officer in movie Shankar IPS and he is making conscious efforts to change his looks to give a feel to the character. So he is doing two hour workouts every day for the same. Bangalore based model Catherine is the heroine and she plays a glamorous role.

Gurukiran scores music for five songs and Dasari Seenu is the cameraman. Avinash, Rangayana Raghu and others are in the cast. The film will be shot in Mysore and surroundings.
