"Sharmila and me are good friends," Diganth

Kannada actor Diganth, who is busy with the shooting of the movie Swayamwara, has been making headlines one or the other way everyday. The latest buzz about the actor is that he is getting cosy with his co-star Sharmila Mandre. But he denies the rumours saying that they are just good friends.

Earlier, the actor was linked with actress Tejashwini during the shooting of E-Preethi. Even director Priya Bharathi had claimed that he had slept with two actresses of the movie. He was also said to have alleged relationship with Andrita Ray. But he rules out all the claims. He says, "Sharmila and me are good friends. Another Swayamawara co-star Srinagar Kitty is even more close friend of mine."

Diganth was very upset over the rumours at the beginning of his career and now he does not mind them at all. There were claims that he was an irresponsible guy and he would be always late on shooting sets. But he claims if he was a irresponsible guy director Anantraju would not have roped in him for the second and director Yogaraj Bhat would not have signed in him for three movies.

Presently, the shooting of Swayamwara is going on and it will be held between 9.00am and 6.00pm. He says that he will come to set at 7.30 am, get ready with make up and wait for others. He will be first person to come on set.
