Shubha Poonja talks about Taakath

After the movie Chanda and Slum Bala, Kannada actor Vijay and actress Shubha Poonja are coming together again in the movie Taakath, which has created lot of curious among the audience before its release. The actress says that she is very happy to work with senior director MS Ramesh.

"Movie Taakath is a love story with a rural background. I play the lead lady of the movie," Shubha Poonja said talking about the movie. “The music of the movie has already got good response in the market. Using folk and cultural tunes for the movie has helped the music to impress the audiences. It has also got one modern song. All the songs are melodious," She added.

Shubha Poonja starrer Chanda was a superhit movie. But her later with movie Vijay, Anjadiru was utter plop at the Box Office. Shubha strongly believes that the movie Taakath will definitely break the records set by Chanda.

Now, the actress is slightly changing from serious to comedy roles. She is acting in a comedy movie Golmal, which is not a remake of Hindi film. Directed by Pramod Chakravarthy, the movie features Vijayaraghavendra in the lead role. Presently, it is being shot in Kushalnagar.
