Kannada
actor-turned-director
Sudeep,
who
entered
B-town
with
the
Ram
Gopal
Verma's
movie
Phoonk,
has
denied
the
claims
of
shifting
his
base
to
Mumbai.
It
was
reported
earlier
that
the
director
was
quitting
the
Sandalwood
in
order
to
pursue
his
Bollywood
projects
like
Phoonk
2,
Rakta
Charitrain
and
remake
of
Just
Maat
Maathalli.
Speaking
to
the
Bangalore
Times
about
the
reports
of
his
shifting
to
Mumbai,
the
Veera
Madakari
actor
says,
“In
that
case,
I"d
have
packed
my
bags
and
bid
goodbye
to
Bangalore.
As
of
now,
I
only
ask
for
an
air
ticket.
Whenever
the
director
has
called
me,
I"ve
gone,
delivered
and
come
back," the
Bangalore
Times
quotes
him
as
saying.
Presently,
Sudeep
is
busy
filming
with
Vivek
Oberoi
for
the
movie
Rakta
Charitra.
Soon
he
will
head
to
Mumbai
to
resume
the
shooting
for
Phoonk
2.
He
has
also
completed
another
RGV's
movie
Rann,
which
is
slated
for
a
January
2010
release.
He
has
also
planned
to
debut
in
B-Town
as
a
director
with
a
remake
of
JMM.
However,
Sudeep
currently
has
two
Kannada
projects
like
Mr.
Theertha
and
Just
Maat
Maathalli,
for
which
he
has
already
comoleted
the
shooting.
Both
are
long
awaited
movies
and
now
they
are
getting
ready
to
release.
“I"ll
focus
on
the
release
of
JMM,
after
which
I"ll
work
on
an
S
Narayan
project,
a
first
for
me,"
he
says
to
BT.
