Sundar Raj's daughter debuting in Kannada

Actor Sundar Raj and Pramila Joshai's daughter Meghana Raj, who has already acted in Tamil movie Krishnaleelai, is now debuting in Kannada through the movie Punda Prachanda. She will act along side Amabari actor Yogish in H Vasu directed movie. Punda Prachanda is produced by Kuppu Swamy.

Sundar Raj said that he wanted his daughter to act in Kannada movie first, but she got her first offer in Tamil. Once Tamil director K Balachander had seen Meghana Raj when he had come to Bangalore to see Dr. Rajkumar, who was suffering from ill-health. Later, he met her at his relative's marriage function in Chennai. He asked her whether she would act in movie. She said yes and he gave her first opportunity to act in Tamil movie Krishnaleelai.

However, actress Meghana Raj has also acted in a Telugu movie. She does not have any formal training in acting. Once she had acted in a drama called Jokumarswamy. She said, "Now I've acted in two movies and I don't have any camera fear." It is also reported that she is teaming up with Yogesh another Kannada movie Padde Hududga.
