Venkata in Sankata tops the chart

Ramesh Aravind"s Venkata in Sankata continues to reign on the number one spot this week. Since its release two weeks ago, it has been the biggest grosser in the box office. This comedy film has Ramesh Aravind as hero with three heroines: Sharmila Mandre, Maghana and Anusha.

Vishnuvardhan"s Nam Yajamanru, released last week, closely follows Venkata in Sankata. This psychological thriller is expected to pick up momentum as days progress. The third spot goes to Junglee featuring Vijay and Andrita Ray. Jolly Days with lots of teenage fun is at the fourth spot with Pooja Gandhi"s Anu still lingering at fifth place.
