Thyagaraju

a
recent
press
meet
organized
in
Bangalore.
Ullasa
Uthsaaha,
the
Kannada
remake
of
Ullasamga
Utsahamgaa
(Telugu),
features
Ganesh
and
newcomer
Yami
Goutham
in
the
lead
roles.
Thyagaraju
said
he
was
so
carried
away
by
the
Telugu
version
that
he
wanted
to
remake
it
right
away.
He
considered
several
names
before
selecting
assistant
director
Devaraj
Palan
as
director.
As
for
hero
Ganesh,
Thyagaraju
did
not
think
twice
before
selecting
him
since
he
suited
the
role
perfectly.
On
the
other
hand,
Ganesh
came
to
know
about
Ullasamga
Utsahamgaa
only
after
the
producer
approached
him
for
the
role.
He
said
that
he
was
really
impressed
by
the
film
and
gave
the
dates
right
away.
Yami
Goutham,
the
debut
actress,
hails
from
Chandigarh
and
is
really
happy
to
be
a
part
of
a
film
full
of
successful
people.
She
expressed
her
thanks
to
the
director
and
producer
for
casting
her.
Devaraj
Palan,
who
turns
independent
director
through
Ullasa
Uthsaaha,
has
worked
in
nearly
50
films
as
assistant
director.
