A good news for Real star Upendra fans. Now Upendra is coming back to direction through a movie, which will be produced by himself. Uppi's new film is named after hand signal (Hamsa Hastha) and it is expected to go to sets on July 31.
Upendra entered Kannada Film Industry as a director. His first directorial venture was Jaggesh starrer Tharle Nanmaga, which was a big hit. Later, Uppi directed movies, like Shh, H2O, Om, Upendra, A, Operation Anatha and Swasthik. Many of his directorial ventures are titled with the names of symbols and formulas. Once again, he has titled his next venture with the name of a hand signal, which means 'the best'.
The hand signal has got many meanings. It is interpreted as having creative quality. It has got more importance in classical dance and it is called as 'Hamsa Hastha'. The signal is visible in the meditative position of Buddha. The hand signal (symbol), which has got so much of prominence, has created lot of curiosity among the audience.
Earlier, Upendra had planned to come out with a movie with interrogative mark (?), but the project was dropped due to some reason. Now the director-turned-actor is busy thinking on how he can create story for the movie that is named after hand signal. It is said that Uppi has secretly started preparating for the movie for the past two weeks.
However, he is also waiting for the release of Bhimoos Bang Bang Kids.
