Vinod Raj likes to experiment with roles

Kannada actor Vinod Raj, whose movie Yaaradu with his mother Leelavathi was released recently, has said that he wants to share screen space with his mom in all his upcoming films. He would like to experiment with roles rather than playing the usual mother-son duo.

Earlier, senior actress has produced the film Kannadada Kanda to launch her son Vinod. Now, movie Yaaradu is her second movie under her own banner. Besides this, she has also played a pivotal role in it. However, both Leelavathi and her son Vinod have received rave review for their performance in it.

The dance king and the senior Kannada actress appeared together in Yaaradu after a gap of six years. "My mother's fans want to see us together in our future projects. We too would like to experiment with roles instead of playing the usual mother-son duo. Something unusual like what we did in Yaaradu would be a good idea," the DNA quotes Vinod Raj as telling.

The actor feels that it was funny to watch his mom playing someone else's mom in Yaaradu. He has got lot of respect and appreciation for her. "I enjoy working with my mother because she has a lot of fun. She also comes up with cool concepts and has a lot of great advice for me. So having mom around is like being at home even when I am at work," the DNA reports him saying.

However, Vinod Raj is planning for his next movie and very shortly he will come out with the announcement of the details of the movie. He assures that his next movie would also feature them both.
