Kannada actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan and Crazy star Ravichandran have strongly condemned the Swetha Nagu dubbing scandal. They have urged that KCN Chandrashekhar and other two producers HN Maruthi and Ajanth Raju should beg public apology for allegedly dubbing the movie in Kannada.

“The producers should pay fine to Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC). This money will be used for developmental works of Kannada film industry. This is a big crime and the criminals should be punished," the Crazy star urged. “If anyone had done this act in Tamil or Telugu, he would have been fined heavily. The producer should give the money, which they have earned from Satellite rights as fine to KFCC," Ravichandran added.

“It's very sad news to know that insiders have committed this crime. I'm really hurt by the development. Although the producers have claimed that it is an unfortunate act, it doesn't look gentle for them to do a crime after knowing it's wrong to do. All pro-Kannada association should take it seriously," said Dr. Vishnuvardhan.

Recently, KCN Chandrashekhar, HN Maruthi and Ajanth Raju had held a press meet after the Swetha Nagu dubbing scandal was brought to the notice of KFCC. They had tried to close down the issue by begging apology from KFCC.

However, KFCC is trying to stay away from the scandal. Although Swetha Nagu dubbing scandal is making so much of news, KFCC is silent as if nothing has happened. It is asking for a little time. "The producers have contacted the KFCC regarding the issue through a letter. We're thinking about what kind of action should be taken against the produces," said the President of KFCC, Dr. Jayamala.
