Vishnu's 200th Film, Aptharakshaka

It is confirmed. Dr, Vishnuvardhan's 200th film will be a sequel to his earlier hit Apthamithra and is named Aptharakshaka. It will start rolling from March 10th in Palani, Tamil Nadu. Dr. Vishnu's 199th film, Nane Bere Nan Style Bere produced by K. Manju, will begin very soon.

Apthamithra was a remake of the Malayalam film Manichithrathazhu directed by Fazil. P. Vasu who remade Manichithrathazhu in Kannada and Tamil (Chandramukhi) will direct Aptharakshaka also. Although a sequel, it is heard that the content and storyline of Aptharakshaka will differ from Apthamithra but Dr. Vishnu will continue to play the psychiatrist. Avinash will also be doing an important role and there are three heroines Sneha and Lakshmi Gopalaswami plus a third heroine whose name is yet to be announced.
