Vishnuvardhan's Aaptha Rakshaka to release on Jan 22

Vishnuvardhan's
much-expected
movie
Aaptha
Rakshaka,
which
is
his
200th
film,
is
all
set
for
statewide
release
on
22nd
of
this
month
(January).
Meanwhile,
the
audio
of
the
film
will
be
launched
into
market
on
15th
January,
says
the
producer
Krishna
Prajwal.
The
movie
Aaptha
Rakshaka,
which
is
a
sequel
to
Vishnu's
hit
Kannada
film
Apthamitra,
was
supposed
to
be
released
in
November
2009,
but
it
was
delayed
because
of
the
floods
in
North
Karnataka.
Krishna
Prajwal
is
shocked
by
the
sudden
death
of
Dr.
Vishnuvardhan.
He
feels
that
his
fans
are
still
struggling
to
come
out
of
the
shock
and
the
pain.
“So
we've
planned
to
release
the
movie
on
22nd
January," says
the
producer.
However,
late
Dr.Vishnuvardhan
starrer
Aaptha
Rakshaka
is
one
among
the
most
expensive
movies
in
Sandalwood.
It
is
said
that
the
movie
is
made
with
a
budget
of
Rs.
8
crores.
Directed
by
P.
Vasu
the
film
features
five
heroines
like
Bhavana,
Lakshmi
Gopalaswamy,
Nikita,
Vimala
Raman,
Sandya.
Avinash,
Srinivas
Murthy,
Komal
and
Ramesh
Bhat
are
in
the
cast.
