Aaptha Rakshaka silver jubilee celebration turns dull

The silver jubilee celebration of late actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan"s last movie Aaptha Rakshaka has turned out to be a dull event as the list of the guests present there did not include any big names of Kannada film industry.

P Vasu, the director of the movie was present on the occasion along with two actresses Vimala Raman and Sandhya, who are from outside Karnataka. On Saturday night, the event also missed some of the team members from the movie, who were from Karnataka only. They did not come to receive the silver jubilee shield at Kanteerava Indoor stadium.

The event was totally lackluster without any great speeches and attendance. The absence of Dr. Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, wife of the late actor and his family members, was the main reason behind this silver jubilee event going weak. Actually, they were absent at event as it was late actor"s birthday. KFCC President Basanth Kumar Patil was the only one person to represent the Kannada film industry.

Director of Aaptha Rakshaka, P Vasu, is going to remake this movie in Telugu now with Venkatesh in the lead role. An emotional Vasu was quoted saying that he remembers Dr Vishnuvardhan while shooting every scene of the Tamil version.
