Akshay returns to Kannada films with Cinderella

Kannada film actor Akshay, who made his debut with the movie Ganga Cauvery, is ready to hit on the big screen with a musical love story titled Cinderella. Akshay was launched by his producer father RV Venkatappa in Ganga Cauvery.

Akshay has been waiting for a right chance and proper script from last two years to make his presence felt on the big screen again. He has now come out of the RV Venkatappa controversial producer BP Srinivas" Harischandra Ghat and is ready to play a multimillionaire son in the new movie.

The shooting for Cinderella has started at Dharmagiri Sri Manjunatheswara temple in Bangalore. Madhukar Belakawadi is directing this movie, in which the heroine is like a dream girl for the hero Akshay. P Sudarshan, who is experienced in Hindustani music, is composing the music for this movie and will take the audience to the olden melodies.

Maruthiraj is the producer of the movie and has invested Rs.1.25 crores on this film, which has 45 days schedule. Actress Sushma, who has been seen in Madhura Prema, is playing the second heroine in Cinderella and the makers are yet to finalize the dream girl of Akshay.

Hope the film works for Akshay and he becomes able to make a place in the Sandalwood!
