Bhavana debuts in Kannada with Jackie

Kerala beauty Bhavana who has acted in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam is finally making her debut in Kannada. Power star Puneet Rajkumar starer Jackie will be her first film in Sandalwood. With this move director Suri has given a full stop to all the speculation about the female lead for the film.

Bhavana said that she has not seen any films of Puneet Rajkumar or director Suri but has heard a lot about them. She feels a sense of completeness for being part of all the South Indian Languages like Tollywood, Kollywood, Mollywood and Sandalwood. Nayantara and Priyamani recently joined the club of actresses who have acted in all the four South Indian Languages.

Duniya, Junglee fame Suri says thats he was looking for an innocent face for the film Jackie. He has seen Bhavana in films like Veyil and Chithiram Pesuthadi and he was impressed with her brilliant performance and thought that she will fit the bill.

V Harikrishna is scoring music for the movie, Satya Hegde will crank camera and Shashidhar Adappa will be art director for the film. Suri's mentor Yograj Bhat has once again penned two songs for the film.
