Chindodi Leela's condition is critical

Theatre artiste and actress Chindodi Leela's condition is critical and has been kept in Intensive Care Unit of Wockhardt Hospital. She suffered from a heart attack and had undergone a Bypass Surgery on January 18. She was responding well to the treatment but now her condition has again become critical.

Chindodi Leela has been associated with theatre for about 40 years. Policena Magalu (Daughter of Police) had seen 4500 shows and entered Guinness Book of Record. She has also acted in movies like Puttana Kanagal's Sharapanjara, Tumbida Koda, Gaanayogi Panchakshari Gavayi etc.

Earning numerous awards along the way she was conferred Padma Shri by the Government of India and she has also received Gubbi Veeranna Award, the Sangeet Natak Academy award. We at Oneindia pray her quick recovery.
