The wooden set of the film Dhandam Dhashagunam at Chaklihole dam in Kushalnagar near Dubare forest has become a major attraction for the media. This is the place, where a song of the film was shot. The song featured Ramya and Chiranjeevi Sarja and was choreographed by Chinni Prakash.

The set was erected by the famous art director Mohan B. Kere. An estimated total of 45 carpenters created the set, which took 40 days to complete and nearly Rs.22 lakhs were spent.

A source from the sets says, "This locale was selected after a place in Sri Lanka was rejected by producer Ganesh as well as the art director. The set was erected near the dam. Due to heavy rains, water from the dam was overflowed and gushed in. which caused an extra expenditure of nearly five lakhs of rupees. Mohan B. Kere had to go nine feet deep with divers to keep the structure intact."
