Tamil and Kannada actor Murali died of heart attack on Wednesday morning and his sudden death has shocked thousands of his fans. Murali fans are struggling to digest this news. The bilingual actor had fans both in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Some of his fans from Kannada and Tamil film industries, who are currently staying in different countries, were thunderstruck when they read his death news on Oneindia.
Actor Murali was truly not only an actor, but he was also great human being and this had made the number of his fans increase more. The talented actor was known for his honesty and friendship. He considered them more than anything else in life. After reading the shocking news, several of his fans have written in the comment box of Oneindia about their serious concerns over his sudden demise.
As an actor he had a unique style of acting. A fan named Jaya writes in on Oneindia comment box, "Murali is one of my 80's and 90's favourite actors. He was handsome, humble and acted well. I really miss him. May his soul rest in peace. Another disheartened fan of Murali writes, "He was an eminent and unique actor in Tamil and Kannada film industries. It (his death) is unexpected. We can't digest the news."
The talented actor was loved by his fans for his wonderful expression of feelings through his acting. Ahmed writes, "He is one amazing actor, who is great in articulating his dialogues." What bothers most of his fans is that he died at a very young age, 46. Shankari writes, “Still I can't believe his death at this young age. May his soul rest in peace. Let's pray god to give courage to his son and other family members to bear his loss."
Recently, Murali had introduced his son Atharva with the movie Baana Kaathadi in which he himself had played a pivotal role. Now, some of his fans feel that his death has created vied in South Indian film Industry and they hope that his son would compensate his absence. Raghu writes, "His son did a sweet movie and he will surely live in his dad's place and more." Sadiq writes, “Atharva should become more responsible now."
A few days ago, the actor was on a private TV channel for an interview. Reena remembers his appearance on TV and writes, "I was shocked very much on hearing the news in a Kannada channel. He is very decent actor and good human being. Recently, I've seen his interview in Kadhai Alla Nijam with Laxmi & direct live interview in a local Tamil channel. On hearing the news of his death, it explains nothing is in our hands. May his soul rest in peace."
Murali had performed the engagement ceremony of his daughter Kaavya on September 05. He had also attended the marriage of Superstar Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya. Puppu writes, "Very sad to hear this news. Just two days ago, I saw his photos in Rajini's daughter's marriage. My deep condolences to actor murali's family."
The south Indian actor had campaigned for AIADMK in the Assembly elections of Tamil Nadu in 2006. Several of Murali fans wanted him to enter politics. Josh writes, "I thought he would be the next chief minster for our state! We lost the upcoming cabinet!"
However, Murali passed away at the Ramachandra Hospital in Chennai at 4.00 am on 8th September. He was rushed to the hospital on Monday after he complained of chest pain on Monday. But he died on Wednesday morning following a massive heart attack. He is survived by his wife Shobha and daughter Kaavya and son Atharva.
