The
grapevine
has
been
abuzz
with
news
that
Real
star
Upendra
will
play
the
lead
role
in
Director's
Special
but
director
Guruprasad's
has
come
out
to
clarify
that,
This
story
is
completely
untrue
and
baseless
and
he
has
no
idea
where
this
rumour
originated.
He
says
that
he
has
not
spoken
to
Upendra.
“I
like
to
do
low
budget
films
without
big
star",
he
added.
Guruprasad's
earlier
movie
Mata
and
Eddelu
Manjunatha
were
low
budget
movies
which
saw
huge
success.
Now
DSP
has
been
in
the
news
from
the
day
one
when
actor
Jaggesh
parted
away
with
Guru
Prasad,
they
missed
out
the
opportunity
of
making
successful
hatrick
combination.
Later
Guruprasad
roped
in
Jaggesh's
brother
Komal
Kumar
but
he
also
opted
out
by
saying
that
it
will
be
difficult
for
him
to
do
the
justice
to
the
role.
Guruprasad's
upcoming
movie
Director's
Special
is
based
on
the
in
and
outs
of
Gandhi
Nagar
(Sandalwood).
In
his
previous
movies,
Gandhi
Nagar
was
just
a
part
of
his
stories,
but
now
he
has
taken
it
as
a
lead
story.
Now
Guru
Prasad
has
clarified
that
Upendra
is
not
in
his
scheme
of
things.
Now
the
question
is
who
will
do
the
role
in
Guru's
movie?
Only
time
will
answer
this
for
sure.
