Innovative Film Awards – The new award event

Kannada films are set to have another awards event – The Innovative Film Awards. The awards have been organized by Innovative Film City in association with Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, Zee Kannada satellite channel, Onida and Rockline Venkatesh.

The awards will be held for the year 2009 on April 18, 2010. Recently, a formal function was held in Bangalore. An expert panel of judges will select the winner. Ambarish will be the brand ambassador for the event. Kaviraj has penned the theme song for the event while Ricky Kej has composed the music for it.
