Celebrity galore at Jackie audio launch

The much-awaited audio of Jackie starring Puneet Rajkumar was launched yesterday at Lee Meridien Hotel, Bengaluru. Interestingly, this time it was not the stars who unveiled the audio. For the first time, Puneet's daughters released the CDs the film directed by Suri.

Speaking at the occasion, V Harikrishna said, “The songs and the lyrics are completely different from my previous movies. This film has five songs and all of them are written by Yogaraj Bhat. I would like to thank Suri, Appu, Raghavendra Rajkumar and family for giving me this opportunity."

Suri said, “One year ago we started discussing about this project. When I met Amma (Parvathamma Rajkumar), I was astonished by her positive energy. This is for the third time I am meeting her. I am feeling very happy that the movie has come out really well. I would like to appreciate Raghavendra Rajkumar for giving me free hand. He never worried about budget, and in fact, we never planned about the cost of the film. At times, we took more than 12 days to shoot one song. I would like to thank Harikrishna for giving excellent songs and Yogaraj for penning such wonderful lyrics."

Shivaraj Kumar said, “Very rarely we see a director penning lyrics for other production films. Usually they stick to their films and don't take it seriously for other banner movies. But here is an example, where a director has written five songs for other director films. It is a good sign for Sandalwood industry. And also music of the film is very refreshing and it seems Hari has got midas touch. He has even overtaken Guru Kiran when it comes to music."

Smt.Parvathamma Rajkumar said, “I"m proud of Suri because I was skeptical about him when I first met him. Raghu and Puneet always praise Suri for his hard work. I wish Jackie team a good luck."

Ravi Kale, Yogaraj Bhat, Raghavendra Rajkumar and Imran Sardhariya also spoke at the event and wished Jackie team. Other big names in Sandalwood like Puneet Rajkumar, Rockline Venkatesh, Raghavendra Rajkumar, Mohan(Anand Audio), director Guru Prasad, Jayanth Kaikini, Harshika Poonacha, Guru Dutt, and others attended the music launch function.
