Recently, the recording of songs for the movie 12 AM was held at Chamundeshwari Studios on last Saturday. The movie has two songs and poplar musician V Manohar has composed music for them along with the background score. Introducing the cast and crew, executive-producer Kashinath said that he has already trained great director and actors like Upendra and Sunil Desai.

Addressing the media, Kashinath expressed his desire to start a training institute for upcoming producers. He said, "I met Vijayakumar and his wife Prathima through my brother Prakash. After learning their interest in producing movies, I decided to introduce them to Kannada audience. Meanwhile, Karthik was also eagerly waiting to do movie with me and he had even written a story. They listened it and agreed to produce it."

The actor added, "Here I am just an organiser and guide to them. I am providing platform to them. I am not investing money in it. My son Alok Kashinath a.k.a Abhimanyu is playing hero in 12 AM. It is just like a Mahabharath. Karthik is an Arjun, the producer is a Dharmaraja and I am the Krishna. My son is Abhimanyu. Like Abhimanyu of Mahabharath, I want him to fight for Kannada films and uplift the industry."

Vijayakumar said, "Since childhood, I've been very much interested in films and I have been watching films of all languages. Now, I want to contribute something to society through film industry. I've already heard Karthik's story and it is a different effort from him. We'll do the movie and leave it to audience to decide its future."

Talking to the media V Manohar said, "Kashinath is my guru. Besides training me, he has also given food and shelter to me. I've done several movies with him. Now I am teaming up with him after a long gap. Usually, Suspense movies will have very less number of songs and this movie has also only two songs i.e. love and travel song. We've planned to give preference to local singers."

However, the film 12 AM is a suspense thriller and deals with Nyctophobia' (phobia of darkness). It is being made with whopping Rs. one crore. Kashinath's son Abhimanyu is playing the her while the movie bosses are in search of suitable face for the female lead. The movie will starting shooting from this month end."
